I wanted to share a beautiful home styling display from this stunning coastal BNB in Rhode Island. The wonderful cottage owner, Greer Gagnier was nice enough to let us into her adorable cottage and share her process of decorating these gorgeous rental cottages. Her beachy style and nautical aesthetic immediately captured my eye. I hope you’re just as inspired as me by her home’s stunning interiors complemented by coastal/beachy wall art – enjoy 30% off all aerial beach photography this week. Without further ado, let's get started!
## We’re so excited to be visiting your gorgeous coastal BNB today, can you tell us a little about it?
> Thank you, it’s a pleasure! We have three vacation cottages located in Pawtuxet Village, Rhode Island. It is a very historic area and all of our cottages were built in the 1800’s and have water views of Pawtuxet Cove and Narragansett Bay. We try to honor the old character of the homes while updating them with a fresh coastal feel for our guests.
## Can you tell us a bit more about what you do?
> My name is Greer Gagnier, I manage and own Gregory Hill with my family in Rhode Island. We update and renovate historic homes for both long and short term rentals, with our main focus being on our waterfront cottages. The name Gregory Hill came from the street my siblings and I grew up on, and our dad started his rental business under this name over 30 years ago. About 5 years ago, I revived the name and turned it into the brand that it is today. I manage all of the cottages on a daily basis and am responsible for all of the interior design.

## What is the next piece of GM art you hope to add to your collection or to include at this BNB?
> I have been eyeing “The Golfers - Mid Ocean Club” for a while. I would love to style it in a fun powder room or home office. I love how it looks like a vintage photograph, and gives off a playful vibe of a classic sport. It reminds me of a Slim Aarons photo and is such an instantly classic piece.
## How would you describe your home design style?
> I would describe my design style for our vacation homes as clean and relaxing New England coastal. The first thing I want our guests to feel is relaxed, and a neutral color palette with muted blues and natural wood tones is a perfect way to express that. Gray’s work fits seamlessly into that theme, and I know our guests will feel relaxed just looking at his pieces in the cottages. New England is also an incredible place to find antiques and vintage furniture so I always try to mix old with new whenever I can in our homes. I could design an entire room around the perfect antique piece.
> I originally went to school for fashion, and I think that has an impact on the way I design our homes from the colors to the type of textiles I use in the furnishings. I find inspiration everywhere I go, and I am always taking pictures whenever I travel of things I want to incorporate in our homes.
## What do you love the most about your BNB location/where do you recommend your guests visit?
> What I love most about the location of our cottages is that it really is a hidden gem in Rhode Island. We have guests from all over the country and the world come to stay with us who have never heard of Pawtuxet Village. Many people who live in RI have never even visited it! Once they discover it, it’s hard to not keep coming back. It is a quintessential coastal town in New England, with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. There are little shops and restaurants just a short walk from our cottages, and beautiful parks with waterfront views. It’s hard to believe this little slice of paradise is just 10 minutes away from downtown Providence.

> We create a curated guidebook for all of our guests every year that is filled with our favorite places to go in the area and things to do. One place that I always recommend to our guests is Stillhouse Cove, a beautiful park within walking distance from our cottages with expansive views of the water. It is the perfect place to have a picnic and enjoy the boats going by.
## What aspect of the Gray Malin lifestyle brand do you connect with the most?
> I absolutely connect with the concept of “making every day feel like vacation”, and I think our brands are very similar in that way. We want all of our guests to feel like they are on vacation from the second they walk into our homes. No matter the reason our guests come to visit, we want them to start and end their days feeling like they’re on vacation. With the beautiful art from the Gray Malin collection now on our walls, I know our guests will be immediately transported to that state of mind.
