The Impact of Framed Statement Art

The Impact of Framed Statement Art

Hi Friends!

In honor of our free framing sale (ending this weekend!) I wanted to call out some fun ways people have styled pieces in their homes. Seeing frames and prints with different interiors is so inspiring. Take a peek at some of my favorites below!

Frame 5 (5)

Large or small, art can always make a big impact on a space. I adore how these frames feel like they’re meant to be in each room. In addition, the colors in the Prada Marfa prints tie into little details and tones of each room.

Frame 1 (10)

I love adding an unexpected frame color to a print, especially when they play into the room they’re styled in. The playfulness of the Parker Series breaks up the seriousness of the first room while still being refined in a black frame. On the other hand, the second room shows how the print can be displayed in a more youthful way.

Frame 3 (5)

Top of Aspen Mountain is one of my favorite examples of this. The print itself is so minimal, but the frames and interiors completely transform how playful or serious it is. It also lends to how impactful this print can be in a home.

Frame 8 (2)

More than anything, adding a frame that fits your space is just as important as finding the right print. The selection on both of these are ideal for the rooms they’re styled in. Nantucket prints are perfect for adding an ocean breeze to any room.

Frame 7 (1)

Just look at this! Same prints, different frames and spaces. Yet both go so well with the rooms they’re in. The signature green and pinks from the Gray Malin at the Beverly Hills Hotel series are so iconic and can add dimension to any space it’s placed in.

Frame 2 (8)

Size doesn’t always need to be the primary aspect to make a print standout. These Neon Umbrellas I shot in Barcelona showcase how sometimes framing can make a larger impact than size. Darker frames typically make a print stand out more, appearing larger.

Frame 6 (2)

The same goes for these Prada Marfa prints. As much as the frame color plays into how the eye is drawn to art, the wall behind it is just as important. Contracting colors and patterns on walls is a fun way to highlight art in a unique way.

So consider all of these things when you’re picking out your next piece. Your art should feel like it’s meant to be in your home – playing into colors and dimensions that bring it to life.
