Spindrift Sparkling Water Cocktails

Spindrift Sparkling Water Cocktails

Hi Everyone,

If you’ve been following along with my last few posts, then you’ll know that I’m all about finding the perfect healthy swaps for some of my favorite indulgences. While I love the way sticking to a healthy diet makes me feel, I can’t help but have a craving now and then for something a little sweeter, which led me to my latest obsession; Spindrift sparkling water. Not only do these sips kick my sweet tooth to the curb, but they are made with two super simple ingredients—filtered sparkling water and fresh squeezed fruit! So of course, I couldn’t resist making my own cocktails using these sparkling beverages as the base, and let me just say, they exceeded my expectations and continue to satisfy my cocktail cravings on the regular.

These Spindrift natural sodas are truly delicious on their own, so all I had to do was add a couple of simple ingredients to the already-sweet beverages, and voila! The result was two perfectly light and sweet summer cocktails served on the rocks. With that said, I’m sharing the recipes below, so keep scrolling to see how you can make these two summer sips at home…

## **What You’ll Need:**

- Spindrift sparkling water in grapefruit and cucumber (you should be able to pick some up at your local Trader Joe’s or Costco, or order these flavors online here and here)
- Fresh strawberries
- Mint leaves
- Fresh grapefruit
- Key limes
- Vodka

## **The Recipes:**

**_Strawberry Cucumber Spa Water Cocktail_**

Since that fresh cucumber water taste is so reminiscent of a day spent lounging at the spa or by the pool, I decided this cucumber Spindrift flavor would be the perfect base for a cocktail version of fresh strawberry cucumber spa water. Trust me, this cocktail pairs perfectly with some R&R at home. Here’s the how-to…

1. Start by dicing you’re a couple of fresh strawberries into small cubes, and muddling in the bottom of your cocktail glass.

2. Add a few fresh mint leaves to your glass, on top of your muddled strawberries (we added about 5-7 leaves), then top with crushed ice until the glass is about two-thirds full.

3. Pour in your Spindrift cucumber sparkling water until almost full, and top off with a splash of vodka, to your liking. Mix all ingredients together, gently coaxing your muddled strawberry and mint upward to disperse evenly throughout.

4. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a strawberry slice, and serve immediately.

**_Sparkling Greyhound Cocktail_**

Inspired by a classic greyhound cocktail with a lighter twist, this recipe focuses on flavors of fresh grapefruit and vodka that make for the perfect sparkling summer drink. It’s everything you could want from the classic greyhound, without all the calories. Here’s the how-to…

1. Simply start by filling your glass with crushed ice, ending about two-thirds of the way to the top.

2. Pour your Spindrift grapefruit sparkling water into the glass, almost to the top, and add a squeeze of fresh grapefruit juice from half of a grapefruit.

3. Add a splash of vodka, and garnish with fresh key lime slices. Enjoy!

**Do you think you’ll be trying these easy Spindrift sparkling water cocktails at home?**

I couldn’t recommend them more, and I know I’ll be sipping on them by the pool all summer long. Pick up your own Spindrift beverages right here, and let me know what you think…
