## THE QUESTIONS

## MY ANSWERS
## ONE: Something I Want to Master
My fitness routine. I’m proud to say I’ve been pretty good at sticking to a healthy diet and workout schedule these past several months, but—like many of us—I am guilty of falling off of the fitness wagon a bit this holiday season (oops!), and I’m going to make 2017 my year to be consistent in my fitness routine, no matter what.
## TWO: A Bad Habit I Hope to Break
Biting my nails. Old habits die hard, but I’m convinced that 2017 will be my year to break this one!
## THREE: Somewhere I’d Like to Visit
New Zealand! As I’ve mentioned before, New Zealand along with Alaska and Easter Island are just a few on my bucket list, and I hope to check one or two of those destinations off in 2017.
## FOUR: A Dish I Want to Learn to Cook
Sushi. As far as food goes, sushi is quite the art form and I would love to try my hand at it. Who knows, maybe this coming year I’ll be serving homemade sushi at my soirees!
## FIVE: People I’d Like to Spend More Time With
My friends back home in Dallas! My best guy friend and best girl friend live in Dallas and I would love to get some quality time with them this year. Long-distance friendships can be hard, but I love that when we get together it’s like no time has passed at all. Regardless, I hope to make more frequent visits to see them this year!
## SIX: A Luxury I’d Like to Treat Myself to More Often
Quiet nights at home. Spending time relaxing at home with my husband, Jeff, and our dog, Stella, is truly my favorite place to be, and amidst the craziness of running a business and working together, it seems that we don’t get to do it enough. This coming year, I hope to make more time to kick back and relax in our favorite place.
## SEVEN: Something I Will Try to Cut Back On
Wine! I have been trying to switch over to low-calorie cocktails like a tequila soda instead of a scrumptious glass of red wine, and I’m determined to make wine a “treat” in 2017, rather than my go-to.
## EIGHT: A New Talent I Want to Learn
How to sail. I’ve always been a fan of sailing (as a passenger), and this year I would love to learn how to brave the waves!
