How to Plan the Ultimate Destination Bachelorette Party

How to Plan the Ultimate Destination Bachelorette Party

Isn't it so exciting when afriend or family member gets engaged? You're not only thrilled for them and want to know all of the details surrounding the engagement story, but it's also a time when one tends to immediately go into internal planning mode of 'what dates do I need to hold for this?...', especially when it's someone you're close to! Naturally, you'll be part of a variety of celebrations leading up to the big day. The best pre-wedding celebration, in our opinion, obviously is the bachelorette party! Bachelor's have nothing on the time we, as good friends, put into planning the best possible bachelorette party for our bride-to-be!

Inspired by Gray's recent task of being the _hostest with the mostest_ for his best friend/bride-to-be, we are excited to come to the topic at hand, which is of course, a _how to_ guide on planning the best bachelorette party.Specifically, the ever-trending destination bachelorette party. The wedding is an importantday, of course. However, for your friend's last hoorah with her friends, why not extend it into a few days?

## Step I - Talk to the Bride

This seems like an obviousone but sometimes we just get so excited with the planning that we forget to make sure it's what the person (who it's all for) wants for their celebratory moment. For Gray's friend, she only had one request - a beach in Mexico. And just like that, the decision was made and Gray sprang into action. He asked _all_ the questions:1) Particular date/time she'd like to go? 2) Who makes the invite list? and 3) What sort of activities would she like? (This is where one can gage the silliness level of "activities.")

## Step II - Research Research Research

There are lots of factors to take into consideration when leading the planning process and overall execution of a destination bachelorette party. First and foremost, an overall expectation of cost needs to be determined as well as confirm the final count forwho's in for the fun. Once those key items are set,it's time to figure out where to stay.Having only been to Mexicoa couple times in the past, Gray turned to friends and family for recommendations on hotels, specifically onethat would be great for group.Considering there are a variety of coastal destinations in Mexico to enjoy: Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Tulum, Puerto Vallerta...he was able to narrow it down to one through the singuler hotel that was suggested more than once by a few different people, who's opinion he trusts. The Resort at Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas truly rose to the top of the list quite naturally and as luck would have it, Pedregal was exactly what he was looking for and the bride-to-be couldn't have agreed more!

## Step III - Book it!

With the date on lock, the guest list confirmed, and the hotel selected...it's time to pull the trigger on it all! As the date approaches, send out an itinerary with everyone's contact and flight information and most importantly - all of the fun things you have planned!

## Step IV - The Agenda...this is where the fun really begins!

Teaming with Pedregal's conceriege service, he was able to plan a lot for the 3 night 2 day trip's activities from the ease of his lap top. Ready to see all the fun?

### Arrival Evening

Checking into everyone's home for the next few days is always a fun kick off, and it certainly did not disappoint when it came to the3 Bedroom Suitehis group had reserved. Greeted with a tequila & snacks welcome, itseemed to taste better than usual considering it was enjoyed whilstsipping on theprivate terrace with a plunge pool and spectacular ocean view.

After everyone gets settled in a bit as well as aquick wardrobe change, it's off to...more tequila

### _Sunset Tequila Tasting_

Gray knew he wanted to kick the trip off with a super fun activity. After bouncing some ideas around with the hotel's conceriege, they landed ona fun yet _educational_ tequila tasting at sunset. The setting was perfection, as it was held in an area called La Palapa, which is aprivate area onthe resort property overlooking the water. Along with the tasting, the appetizers includedquesadillas, guacamole, and a couple of cocktails including the Pedregal Reyes (which Gray raved about!), the Guava Margarita and Cucumber and Ginger Mojito. Needless to say, this pre-dinner moment was enjoyed by all and set the tone for the rest of the stay.

After a delicious meal at Pedregal's signature restaurant, Don Manuel's, the crew headed back to the suite for another sip or two before retiring for the night.

### Day I

Morning! Grab your coffee to go...

### _Swim with the Dolphins_

Naturally, the thing to do on the morning of your first full day on this fun group trip is to take a dip with the dolphins at the Cabo Dolphin Center.

Yes, this is a thing that you can do in Cabo...so YOLO.

### _Suite Life_

After this magical experience, it's time to lounge, right? Head back to the stunning suite for some pool, sun and libations...oh, and pictures..lots of pictures!

Be sure not to get too carried away during your suite lounging time, though because the day is only getting started.

### _Sunset Cruise_

Handled directly through your trusty conceriege, the sunset cruise is a treat any day of the week, but it's especially sweet when shared with close friends celebrating a big moment for one in particular.

### Day II

###

### _Sailing Anyone?_

Keeping with the theme to get up and get out, Gray scheduled a sailing cruise for the group. It was the perfect way to explore Cabo from the POV of the water. It was a time to enjoy catching some rays as well as taking in the coast and the beautiful blue water.

Once getting back to shore, it's time for...more pool time!

For your last night, it's time to maximize all photo moments! It's also time to enjoy all of those final steps along the sand, delicious sips and of course, joyfullaughs.

And there you have it! The ultimate Destination Bachelorette Party in 4 Easy Steps. Techincally speaking, one through three are the tedious yet very necessary part, and then step four is all about planning the ideal activities for your group of friends, with special emphasis on the most important one, the bride-to-be! Thank you all for following along and special thanks to Gray for planning such an awesome trip, with a little help fromPedregal's conceriege, to help inspire us to write this how to guide!
