Heartfelt Valentine's Day Notes For The Loved Ones in Your Life

Hi Friends!

I cannot believe Valentine’s day is almost here! Every year I find the most meaningful gift to be handwritten notes from loved ones — going the sentimental route never fails. They also last a lifetime and any loved one in your life, ranging from friends to family, will appreciate your kind words on this day of love. Speaking of loved ones, did you know our friends and family sale is happening right now? Enjoy up to 30% off site-wide this week only and bring home or gift your dream print or product.

With that, I wanted to give you some pointers on how to construct a thoughtful Valentine. Personalization for that particular person is so essential, from the way you address them in the opening, to the specific moments you have shared or things you love about them.

## Introduction Ideas
- My Valentine
- Hello Friend
- My Sweetheart
- Insert nickname
- Dearest X

Depending on the relationship you have with this person, there are so many different categories for loved ones and family members that you can write thought-out personal letters to – I will break down some ideas for each category below – I hope this inspires you!

## Romantic
- Write out a special moment you shared together
- When was the moment you realized you were falling in love with this person, tell them!
- Do you remember what this person was wearing when you met?
- What is your favorite personality trait about this person?
- What are you most attracted to about this person?

## Humor
- Talk about a funny moment you shared together that you will always remember
- Tell them how much you love their smile and laugh and you love to make them laugh
- Say a cheesy pun that is personal for something they love like “Will you be wine? I love ya merlots.

## For your Bestie
- Tell them why you appreciate your friendship
- Reminisce about one of your favorite memories together
- Tell them something you would love to do with them this year like a trip, or trying out a new restaurant
- Tell them how thankful you are for everything they do for you

## For Your Kids
- Tell them what you love about them
- Tell them how proud of them you are and give an example of something that stood out
- Talk about a personal memory you share together
- Mention taking them to a favorite restaurant or place or trip this year
- Tell them a funny joke or something punny like “Happy Valentine's Day! Remember not to eat too much candy—you're sweet enough already.”

End your letter with a loving closure and let this person know you love them!
