Last week, I had the chance to see my friend and constant inspiration, Darcy Miller. I have been a long time follower of Darcy's work and have always been mesmorized by her ability to whip something out of what most would consider...well, nothing. She truly is a _Celebrations Expert_, and you can read all about it in her book, Celebrate Everything!After missing each other the last few times I was in NYC, we both made it a point to get some in-person time while I was there for the Be Our Guest! book launch.
We kept it easy, and I went to herhome, which I was more than happy to do, as I knew I was in for major decor inspiration vibes once inside...needless to say, I was not disappointed. However, thegoals that are Darcy's interior design skills is _not_what this post is about...no, it's about this AMAZING cake she surprised me with!
See those adorable toppers? She MADE those...I mean...WOW. I wish I had a photo of my face when I first saw it as I'm sure it was the equivalent of a heart-eye emoji face. She really went above and beyond to make me feel special and for that, I will always remember this day with extreme fondness.
