Backyard Dinner Party with Juliska

Hi Everyone, This week has been one for the memory books! I celebrated the official launch of my first book, BEACHES, on Tuesday in Los Angeles. Wednesday,I was off to my hometown of Dallas to celebrate with my very first book signing! Keeping the momentum, I was inMiami on Thursday for my second signing. This one was special, too as Miami iswhere mybeach aerial seriesfirst began...and, then, just like that.. I'm back! Needless to say, it's been a whirlwind week. To celebrate the success of it in a relaxing way, I decided to have a low key backyard dinner party with my husband and friends. Won't you join?

If you know me,then you already know I'm a major fan of Juliska and Veuve Clicquot. They are botha must! Also,I'm a true Los Angeles transplant, who is obsessed with sushi from Sugar Fish so when I got my latest order from Juliska,I knew exactly the kind of Friday night I was in need of.

## KEEPING IT SIMPLE



Sushi is great for entertaining in that it's an easy yet crowd pleasing meal, especially when the weather is warm. The true star of this night though is the tableware! I foresee many a candlelit summer night spent outside entertainingwith these Juliska "Fish"plates in blue and white along with this gorgeous platter from their Berry & Thread collection.

They are without a doubt the quintessential key to my backyard entertaining, and I couldn't be more excited because it's almost thebest time of year - SUMMER! And now...dinner is served.
