Subdued interiors had their moment in the spotlight, but this year we are seeing the resurgence of more and more bold details. Instead of playing it safe, interior designers and the everyday consumer are decorating their spaces with more daring choices, like rich color palettes (hello, Living Coral!), high-contrast furniture and accessories, and our topic today—daring artwork. While soft, dreamy landscapes and neutral art prints certainly have their place, we’re believers in the impact that can be made by a more daring choice in artwork. That said, allow us to introduce you to 10 fine art photography prints that are sure to warrant a double-take, and take your interiors up a notch in 2019…
## 1. The Greatest
If you haven’t taken a peek at Gray’s latest installment of Bon Voyage, then now is the time to do it. The Greatest is one of our favorites as of late because, well, it literally packs a punch. But on a more serious design note, the neutral color palette makes it easy to match with other décor, while the subject matter is still unexpected, making it a win-win in our book.
## 2. Howdy
This print has a special connection to Gray’s Texas upbringing, but that’s not the only reason why we love it. The desert theme adds an eclectic touch to any space, and the balloon phrase makes it an obviously perfect addition to any entryway. (But if we’re being honest, we love this print in any room of the house.)
## 3. Neon Pink Circle
Minimalists, this one is for you! We love the modern combination of this Bolivian salt flat with a single, neon circle—especially in this commanding hot pink hue.
## 4. Yellow Sheep
Gray’s entire Dream series actually feels like something out of a dream, and it’s easy to see why. These yellow sheep continue to surprise us, and make an organic scene feel immediately stylish.
## 5. Rainbow Cowboy Hats
Prada Marfa is one of our favorites for many reasons, but this print in particular has our hearts. The only thing more intriguing than a Prada storefront in the middle of the Marfa desert? Nine rainbow cowboy hats seemingly floating in mid-air, of course…
## 6. The Entryway
If there’s one thing we love about this print, it is the way it juxtaposes so many different themes effortlessly. Simplicity? Check. Interior design? Check. Tropical vibes? Check.
## 7. The Queen B
We probably don’t need to explain this one, but we will anyway. Let’s just say if you don’t have Queen B hanging on your wall yet, you’re doing something wrong. We love this subtle interpretation of a music icon (and that pop of yellow is to-die-for).
## 8. Welcome Back to the Parker II
When in doubt, we make a visit to the Parker. The concept of this series is unexpected and always makes a statement, but we especially love this in-your-face snapshot of the king of the jungle greeting us at the front doors of the hotel.
## 9. White Pineapples
Want something more monochromatic that still makes a statement? This simple combo of pure white meeting blue skies is easy to add to any space, and the viewer will be pleasantly surprised to find a lineup of painted pineapples across the frame.
## 10. Poolside Phone Call
We’re obsessed with the flirty, timeless vibe of Gray Malin at the Coral Casino, but this is the girl we keep coming back to. One look at this print, and it’s easy to get lost wondering what she’s thinking… We’re not the only ones, right?
