Another year, another opportunity to travel. We fully believe that our lives are best lived when we’re globetrotting and seeing all that the world has to offer. And with Gray’s release of new Aspen images yesterday, we’re craving travel more than ever. (BTW, if you haven’t seen them yet you’re going to seriously swoon.) So naturally, we’ve already thought about our top destinations this year, and we wouldn’t be too surprised if you have too. We’ve rounded up our 10 destinations to add to your 2020 bucket list that will no doubt have you booking tickets to experience cozy winter nights in Aspen or the warm beach breezes of Brazil…
You’ve never truly experienced the fresh alpine air until you’ve visited Zermatt. Beautiful, crisp snow paired with the most beautiful views of Switzerland will have your travel itch soothed long enough until your next adventure.
Afternoon tea. Crumpets. Pristine British buildings. London is calling, and you’ll soon see why. From iconic monuments, palaces, and buildings, to its incredible food scene, the city has so many options for you to explore. It’s a must-see, really.
Imagine strolling along the beach, wind in your hair, on a calm and gorgeous summer’s day. If the thought puts you in a wanderlust-induced flight purchase frenzy, then know that Bermuda, with its glimmering beaches, is likely in your future.
Who hasn’t always wanted to go to Bora Bora? Even if you hadn’t even heard of the place before, you instinctively knew, deep down, that it probably meant lounging on the decks of beautiful overwater bungalows, lots of pampering, and relaxing to your heart’s content. It’s been everyone’s dream since they heard someone utter the words “Bora Bora.”
Because we’ve got some pretty amazing destinations stateside, too. Investing in travel, for a lot people, means investing in international travel. Well, we’d be hard pressed if you didn’t realize how beautiful a lot of America’s destinations are. Great skiing, great views, and great festivities—plus, Park City is right in your backyard.
Asking someone if Thailand is on their bucket list is like asking if a fish needs water. Short answer: YES, they need it to live. Phi Phi Island, in particular, is the iconic island of all our Instagram dreams. Do yourself a favor and don’t let this destination stay by the wayside—fulfill your dreams and book a ticket to experience pure magic.
A lot of people don’t realize that Cape Town is one of those cities that has a little bit of everything. It’s got the beach for relaxing, beautiful mountains for hiking, wineries for a drink (or three), and so much incredible art and history. You’d be remiss if you didn’t consider this a major 2020 trip.
Rio! If a trip to Brazil has been on your horizon, then Rio de Janeiro should be your top choice. From Copacabana to Christ the Redeemer, Rio has all of the iconic monuments and must-sees. Not to mention, it also has amazing beaches, samba, and barbecue.
We’ve been dreaming of Lake Como since before we were born. It’s been called the most glitzy, glamorous place there ever was. Excuse the superlatives, but it’s true: Lake Como is the trip you need to end all trips. Fresh Italian pasta, boat rides on the riviera, and views like the one above are just a little taste of what this destination can offer you.
Last but not at all the least: Aspen! Pair beautiful snowy peaks with après ski afternoons in one of the best places on earth? You get this gem of a place. Gray’s newest series celebrates the beauty and enjoyment of a trip to Aspen, filled with friends, family, and good times. Needless to say, a trip to Aspen is non-negotiable, so mark your calendars.
Which destination is on your bucket list for 2020?
