The Best Selling Print of Every Year

Hi Everyone,

Every January I peek at the numbers (and your DMs) to see which print was the most popular that year. It’s always fun, and sometimes you all really surprise me!

Here’s a list of your favorites: one top print from each year, 2010–2025.

2025 — The Longhorn, Neiman Marcus (Dallas)

A hometown love letter. When I heard the historic Downtown Dallas store was closing, we flew in and created a goodbye that felt very Texas—yes, that’s a majestic longhorn “window-shopping.” Luckily, the store extended their closing deadline and still remain open today!

2024 — Shopping Spree, Liberty London

Dogs + florals = instant joy. I think it’s the mix of proper London and totally unserious “errands.”

2023 — Pool Day, The Colony Hotel

Palm Beach at it's peak. The pinks, stripes, and cabanas scratch that itch for cheerful vacation energy.

2022 — Chairlift Pups, Aspen

One chair, many personalities. This became one of my most beloved dog images (hello, Good Morning America) and the runaway best-seller from our Dogs of Aspen series.

2021 — Welcome to The Plaza Hotel

One frame of New York: a yellow cab, a grand façade, and The Plaza looking timeless.

2020 — Pool Day, The Beverly Hills Hotel

In a tough year, the Pink Palace delivered sunshine you could hang on the wall. It was representative of a time that we could look forward to returning to.

2019 — Hole 10, Pebble Beach Golf Links

The geometry, the Pacific, the green—golf lovers (and design lovers) can stare at this for hours.

2018 — Grand Saline, St. Barths

Two people taking a stroll on one of the most beautiful beaches. I find this image quiet, balanced, endlessly soothing.

2017 —  Always Welcome at The Parker

An open invitation to step into a world of playful hospitality!

2016 — I AM BUSY (Aruba)

The cult-classic balloon photograph. I loved the irony—an out-of-office mood in the most relaxed setting on earth. It still makes me smile.

2015 — Cinque Terre Vertical

Color therapy from the Ligurian coast. Umbrellas and facades stack into the travel dream so many of us share.

2014 — Positano Vista

The view that launched a thousand daydreams (and the cover of my ITALY book). Boats bobbing, houses tumbling, the Amalfi Coast at maximum charm.

2013 — Llamas, Black & White Balloons

Salar de Uyuni, two perfect llamas, a handful of balloons. I had a very real case of altitude sickness shooting this image that I'll never forget!

2012 — Dawn, Prada Marfa

First light on the little boutique in the desert that changed my life. Perfectly captures the magic of Marfa.

2011 — Coogee Beach Horizontal (Sydney)

From my early aerial days. A sea of umbrellas and swimmers—organized chaos from 1,000 feet up.

2010 — Black & White Original, Prada Marfa

One of the very first images I sold at my flea market in West Hollywood. This image, and that time is so nostalgic for me, and I love looking back on those early days of where it all began.

If one of these prints has a story in your home—over the sofa, down a hallway, in a nursery—thank you for letting my work live with you. Sharing these pictures with the world for 15 years has been the honor of my life, and the best part has always been the people I’ve met along the way.

Here’s to more color, more whimsy, and more everyday escapes!

Xx,

Gray
