The Best Of The Best in Outdoor Living Areas

The Best Of The Best in Outdoor Living Areas

If you loved reading this post about the famous Salone del Mobile, you’ll be happy to hear that today’s post is once again coming from our friends Ashley and Andrea at Avenue Interior Design. They’re rounding up the most stunning outdoor living spaces in the hospitality world, from resorts nestled in Miami Beach to Bora Bora—and the Gray Malin prints that evoke these locations, so you can have a piece of these gorgeous spaces in your own home. Keep reading for a dose of design wisdom from the pros, and some serious summer wanderlust… Take it away, ladies!

## Belmond La Residencia

Nestled in the heart of the Spanish island Mallorca, the Belmond La Residencia embodies the art of luxury outdoor living. The resort offers a variety of areas to relax and take in the serenity of the surrounding limestone mountains. We especially love the view from the pool deck of the terraced hillside showcasing the stone-built villages of the past. Orange Crush from the Poolside collection (also shot in Spain) would seem right at home at this property given that family-owned citrus plantations can still be found on the island.

## The Delano Miami Beach

The Delano in Miami Beach has been a trailblazer in many ways (don’t even get us started on the interior!) but one of the most talked-about amenities at the hotel continues to be its outdoor lawn. A giant chessboard positioned just so, methodically staged potted plants lined up on the staircase to the hotel and perfectly placed communal dining tables create a visually engaging outdoor space we just can’t get enough of. The casual, elegant ease of all these features begs you to linger lazily all afternoon. It’s no surprise that even the pool exudes an air of chic authenticity as captured by Gray Malin in the Poolside Palm Trees photo from the Art Deco Miami series.

## The Mystique Hotel Santorini

Sometimes less is more. Case in point, the private infinity pools at the Mystique Hotel in Santorini. The simplicity in form of the furniture and pools speak to the simplicity of the view of the open sea. Nothing invites us to forget the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives like a serene set up like this one. Want this little slice of luxury in your own home? The simplicity of the surrounding Greek coastal architecture is captured in all its glory in this Santorini Vista Triptych and the rest of Gray’s Greek Isles collection.

## The Four Seasons Bora Bora

Poolside cabanas don’t get much better than those found at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. Private cabanas with high ceilings and thatched roofs with unobstructed views of the ocean drive hone the beauty of the island life. Up the ante and really become acquainted with the outdoors by securing one of the exclusive Overwater Bungalow Suites or embark on a casual snorkeling expedition to fully immerse yourself with the beauty of the surrounding sea. But if you can’t get there to experience the real deal just yet, this print is a close second.

## The Beverly Hills Hotel

Live your best life in this iconic Beverly Hills mainstay. No place in Los Angeles is as iconic as the pink, mint, and Kelly green masterpiece that is the Beverly Hills Hotel. You can’t help but feel a little bit like a celebrity from Hollywood’s golden era when lounging on the pool deck or grabbing a leisurely lunch with the who’s who of Hollywood at the Polo Lounge. Gray captures the whimsy and charm of this landmark perfectly for his collection, Gray Malin at The Beverly Hills Hotel.

## The Parker Palm Springs

In our designer eyes, The Parker is almost synonymous with Palm Springs. This sun-soaked retro oasis in the desert manages to feel fresh visit after visit after visit, and embodies everything we love about warm weather exteriors. The property is essentially a grown-up playground complete with tennis, pétanque, a café and three pools to suit any mood. The color palette and furniture embody almost every color imaginable in the most effortless way. If you want to take a step into this wonderland, take a peek at Gray Malin at the Parker (animals not included!).

Which outdoor oasis is your favorite?

We’d love to visit any of them, but until then, we’ll be taking a little piece home with us via these iconic prints.

A big thank you to Avenue Interior Design for sharing these gorgeous spots with us! Make sure to follow them on Instagram and on their website for more breathtaking interiors and exteriors.
