Cheers to the End of Summer

Hi Everyone!

Summer, we’re not ready to break up with you just yet. As much as I love cozy sweaters and pumpkin spice, I’m hanging on to every last drop of sunshine, long evening, and carefree cocktail before fall officially swoops in.

So, before we transition into crisp autumn nights, let’s raise a glass to summer with a little “around the world” toast — one cocktail (and one print) at a time.

Pack light, bring your favorite glass, and let’s make this a proper send-off to summer. ☀️🍹

Capri – Aperol Spritz

aperol, prosecco, soda, orange

Capri practically invented golden-hour glamour, and the Aperol Spritz is its unofficial uniform. Bright, bubbly, and slightly bitter (in the best way), it’s the perfect partner for a late afternoon by the sea. Add in Spritz O’Clock and you’ve got instant Italian chic—no passport required.

New York City – Cosmopolitan

vodka, cranberry, lime, triple sec

Fast-paced, stylish, and bold—the Cosmo feels like a last summer night out in the city that never sleeps. Pair it with The City Girl and channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw before sweater weather sets in.

California – Red Wine

a bold cabernet or a smooth pinot

California does “laid-back luxury” better than anywhere else, and a glass of wine at golden hour is peak West Coast living. Pour yourself a cab, cue the ocean breeze, and imagine yourself at Cheers, San Ysidro Ranch.

Mexico – Margarita

tequila, lime, triple sec, salt

Festive, refreshing, and best enjoyed with your toes in the sand—the margarita is Mexico in liquid form. With The Baja Gal, you can practically feel the sunshine and hear the waves with every sip.

Hawai‘i – Tropical Cocktail

rum, whiskey, passion fruit, guava, orange juice

Hawai‘i is paradise year-round, but in summer it feels especially magical. Sweet, colorful, and a little unexpected, this tropical cocktail is sunshine in a glass. Pair it with Fredrico Cheers and keep that vacation state of mind alive.

Ireland – Guinness

dark stout, rich and smooth

Not every summer toast has to be light and fruity. A pint of Guinness is a nod to cozy, hearty traditions — the perfect drink to carry us from long sunny evenings into the warmth of fall. The Irishman makes it timeless.

rosé wine
If ever there were a drink that captures the spirit of summer on Martha’s Vineyard, it’s a chilled glass of rosé at golden hour. Sunset Cheers is all about good food, great views, and toasting to those picture-perfect golden hour moments.

Cheers to the Journey

So before we swap flip-flops for boots, let’s raise a glass to the summer that was — the sunsets, the spritzes, the sprained ankles from “just one more round” of beach volleyball. Summer may be leaving the calendar, but thanks to these cocktails, it can stick around in spirit.

Here’s to holding on a little longer — one sip (and one photograph) at a time.

Cheers! 🥂
