Summer on Lake Michigan

Summer on Lake Michigan

Hi everyone!

Another summer on Lake Michigan has come and gone, and somehow it always feels like it moves a little too quickly.

Spending time here has become one of my favorite summer traditions. It’s a place where the days naturally slow down, plans revolve around the weather, and some of the best moments are the ones that weren’t really planned at all.

This summer was filled with long days on the water, bike rides along the shore, plenty of time outside, and more than a few evenings gathered around the fire. There’s something about being here that makes even the simplest moments feel special.

Some of my favorite memories from this summer came from just being on the lake. Morning kayak rides, afternoons outside, boat days with friends, and those golden evenings when the light hits the water just right. It’s the kind of scenery that always makes me want to grab my camera.

Of course, summer here is really about the people you get to share it with. We spent plenty of time with friends, enjoyed great meals, laughed a lot, and made the most of every warm day we could.

One of the things I love most is watching Max and Dove create their own memories here. Seeing them enjoy the same kind of carefree summer days I remember from growing up makes this place feel even more meaningful every year.

As August winds down, I’m trying to hold onto these last few weeks of summer a little longer. Lake Michigan gave us another season full of sunshine, time together, and memories I know we’ll be talking about long after summer is over.

And if you’re feeling the same way about summer coming to an end, now is the perfect time to bring a little of that feeling home. For a limited time, we’re offering free framing, making it even easier to find a piece that keeps that vacation feeling going year-round.

Until next summer, Lake Michigan!

xoxo,
Gray
