## GREAT BARRIER REEF
Courtesy of trusty \*Wikipedia, lets breakdown some of the fascinating facts about the Great Barrier Reef. It is composed of 2,900 individual reefand 900 islands stretching for over 1,400milesover an area of approximately 133,000 miles. Soaring high above in Gray's signature doorless helicopter, he reached great heights to capture this entrancing new images.

Unsurprisingly, the primary tourist attraction to the area is snorkeling and scuba diving. The access to the reef is primarily based in the Queensland city of Cairns as well as The Whitsundays.

## WHITSUNDAY ISLANDS
The Whitsundays are a group of islands invarious sizes off the central coast of Queensland. Whitsunday Island is the largest of the group and is home to Whitehaven Beach, which very interestingly has sand thatdoesn't retain heat and has a fine, powder-like consistency.\* Isn't that so cool?? No burning of the feet on hot sand while strolling atop the sands of Whitehaven Beach.
