Pink Beach Club, Miami Manicure
We’re back with another Gray Malin mani tutorial inspired by a print that we love—"Pink Beach Club, Miami". We can’t get enough of the bold contrast in colors. The way the magenta pink stands out against the soft neutral color of the sand is to-die-for. Inspired by the simple, yet attention-grabbing stripes on the loungers, this print was an obvious choice for our latest mani—and our friends at Olive & June did an amazing job bringing the design to life. We’re dreaming of a vacation now!
Pink Beach Club, Miami
If you missed our manicure tutorial last month, we used Gray’s "Paros Yellow Umbrellas" as our inspiration, and it completely surpassed our expectations! Our manicure today is a slightly simpler design, which makes it completely doable at home, even if you’re a newbie at doing your own nail art. (And if you want to hang the “Pink Beach Club, Miami” print right on your wall for some extra inspiration and a pop of color, you can pick one up here.) Now let’s jump right in and get started…
1. First, you’ll want to start this mani with a glossy clear coat. This will give the bottom half of your nails some shine, to complement the coats of color you’ll apply afterward. After the clear coat has dried, gently lay a small piece of straight nail tape horizontally across each nail (or eyeball it if you are feeling brave). Apply two coats of OPI ‘Have a Tempura Tantrum’ nail polish to the top half of your nails, then slowly remove the tape. You should have a clean line dividing the tan polish and your clear coat.
2. Next, take a small nail brush and dip it in white polish, like OPI ‘Alpine Snow’. Carefully paint a straight line across the nail, touching the edge of your tan coat.
3. Follow with another stripe in OPI ‘That’s A Hot Pink’.
4. Finish up with a top coat. Easy as that!
So what do you think? We are loving this mani because it is simple, but still packs a punch, and of course reminds us of those hot pink loungers every time we look at our nails! (If you want to see even more gorgeous work from Olive & June, you can follow them on Instagram.) We hope you try this tutorial at home, and if you do, we’d love to see how it turns out. Share your mani on Instagram and #GrayMalin so we can take a peek. Xx Team GM
