Introducing New Work From Seattle & Puget Sound

Introducing New Work From Seattle & Puget Sound

Hi Everyone!

After years of dreaming about capturing the moody magic of the Pacific Northwest from above, I finally made it. This trip had been cancelled, rescheduled, and postponed more times than I can count — but as I watched the mist roll over Lake Washington on that first morning in the air, I knew: it was so worth the wait.

Seattle and the greater Puget Sound region are a rich mix of evergreen forests, sparkling water, and architectural icons — and this collection is my way of honoring that unique beauty. Below are six of my favorite moments from the journey!

1. Space Needle, Lake Washington

There was a small window of clear skies that let me line up this composition — the Space Needle set against Lake Washington. The combination of skyline, water, and iconic landmarks perfectly capture the charm of the PNW!

2. Lumen Field

I’ve seen a lot of stadiums from the air, but few sit in a landscape like this. The geometry of the roof, the ferris wheel down by the waterfront, the skyline in the back — it all came together in a way that felt uniquely Seattle.

3. Evergreen Triptych

This one’s for the forest lovers. Hovering above the trees, all I could see was a sea of green — no trails, no clearings, just nature in full, unfiltered form!

4. Sailgating at Husky Stadium

I’d heard of the sailgating tradition before, but seeing it from the air is a whole different experience. The boats crowding the marina, the stadium right at the edge of the water — it’s a moment that really captures Seattle’s relationship with both sports and the outdoors.

5. Macs Cove, Deception Pass

A peaceful stretch of coastline with clear water, scattered driftwood, and forest-lined cliffs. It’s a great example of the quiet, natural beauty that defines this area.

6. The Seaplane and the Ferry, Puget Sound

Two of the most common ways to get around in this region — captured in a single frame. A perfect encapsulation of Seattle’s energy: always moving, always layered, always beautiful!

This collection was a long time coming, but in so many ways, it arrived right on time.
I hope these images bring you the same calm, awe, and inspiration I felt from the sky.
