Hi Everyone!
One of my favorite things about travel is the way it encourages us to slow down, savor, and see the world differently. But here’s the secret: you don’t need a plane ticket or a hotel check-in to bring that same spirit into your everyday life. With a few simple rituals, you can capture the magic of vacation—right at home.
Here are some of my favorite ways to live like you’re on vacation, no matter where you are.
☕ Start the day slowly
On vacation, mornings always feel unhurried. Try recreating that by enjoying your coffee or tea outside—on the patio, your balcony, or even just by an open window. Let yourself linger a little longer.
🎶 Make an escapist playlist
Music has the power to transport us anywhere. Create a playlist filled with songs that remind you of your favorite trip—or one you’re dreaming about. Bonus points for dancing while you cook!

🌞 Schedule “do nothing” time
When was the last time you actually did nothing without guilt? Vacations remind us that lounging counts as an activity. Put down the to-do list, grab a book, or just sit in the sun. A little “do nothing” goes a long way.
🚲 Take the scenic route
When I travel, I love hopping on a bike to explore local markets. Bring that home by riding (or walking) to your neighborhood farmers’ market. Pick up fresh flowers, seasonal produce, or something that makes your everyday meals feel special.
🍷 Toast the sunset
There’s something so simple yet profound about raising a glass as the sun goes down. Whether it’s on a beach, a rooftop, or your own backyard, take a moment to pause, sip something you love, and soak in that golden glow.
Bring Vacation Home
Living like you’re on vacation isn’t about where you are—it’s about how you choose to spend your time. Slow mornings, joyful music, unhurried afternoons, and little rituals that make the ordinary feel extraordinary.
And if you want to literally bring the escape home, now’s the time—we’re offering free framing on all photography for a limited time. Think of it as the easiest souvenir you’ll ever “pack.”
Cheers,
Gray
