Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite times of year — a moment to slow down, reflect, and simply enjoy being together. There’s something about gathering around a beautifully set table, candles flickering, and sharing good food (and even better company) that captures everything I love about the holidays.

One of my favorite parts of the day is going around the table and saying what we’re thankful for. It’s a simple ritual, but it always brings a sense of connection and gratitude — the perfect reminder of what this season is really about.

Of course, Thanksgiving wouldn’t be complete without indulging a little (or a lot). This is the one day of the year when I don’t think twice about what’s on my plate. From savory stuffing to crispy Brussels sprouts (my latest obsession — I’m loving this recipe by Ina Garten), it’s all about savoring every bite and enjoying the moment.

This year, I’m especially excited to start a few new traditions. A morning beach walk along Butterfly Beach feels like the ideal way to begin the day — fresh air, ocean views, and a little time to reflect before the festivities begin. Later, we’ll cue up Buddy the Elf and maybe even pop open a few Christmas crackers at dinner — if I can find them!
And as always, the next day is reserved for decorating the tree. It’s the perfect way to ease into the holiday season and get the kids really excited about Christmas time.
And speaking of the day after… I’ll admit, I love to sneak a peek at the Black Friday deals — it’s the perfect excuse to find something special for your home or a loved one. I’ve rounded up a few prints that capture the feeling of Thanksgiving: coming together with loved ones, enjoying a beautiful meal, and celebrating the joy of being together. This year, we’re offering30% off sitewide, so you can bring a little Gray Malin joy into your space (or someone else’s) — just in time for the holidays.
Cheers!
Gray
