_\*\*Hi! With all of the Aperol Spritz craze, I had to throw it back to a post from a few years ago. Needless to say, the secret is out but just in case you are in need of an easy to follow Aperol Spritz recipe, please allow me... (xx GM, August 8'18)\*\*_
Hi Everyone!
I have to take a moment to talk about the drink of Italy...or at least, it's my drink while in Italy.
As I have mentioned once or twice in my Italy Travel Journal posts, I really enjoysipping onan Aperol Spritz, the traditional and commonly served Apéritif, during my times in Italy.
With that summer time taste fresh in my mind, I thought it'd be the perfect follow up to my trip to whip up a batch of my own. Beginning first with my favorite Juliska glassware, I laid out the ingredients.
> - Prosecco - 3 parts
> - Aperol - 2 parts
> - Soda - 1 part
> - Fresh Orange Slices
In honor of this celebratory drink, I thought I'd christenedmy newest additions to myJuliska collection - theAmalia Wine Decanterand wine glasses.
> - Making this refreshing drink is as easy as 3, 2, 1
> - Using a multi-level jigger -Similar to mine available here
> - You'll pour 2 parts of Aperol over ice
> - Followed by 3 parts Prosecco
> - Garnish with some fresh orange slices and adding a splash of club soda..
And then, enjoy!
It's not exactly the same as having Massimo make one for me out on the "Princess" while cruising along the Amalfi Coast, but it's an excellent runner up nonetheless!
It certainly qualifies as a La Dolce Vitamoment that is for sure!
Cheers!
xx
