Hi Everyone,
Can you believe we’re already in the final stretch of 2022? In less than two weeks, we will be ringing in the New Year and I can’t wait. As I look forward to all that’s to come in 2023, I can’t help but reflect on everything that’s happened this past year. From releasing some amazing new series and embarking on some exciting partnerships to adventuring around the world and making memories with my family, this has been a year I will never forget. Now, let’s take a look back...
## 10. Releasing Dogs of Aspen and being on Good Morning America
After shooting my Gray Malin in Aspen series, and after seeing the success of my past dog series, this was a no brainer! It has been so rewarding seeing these prints become best sellers such as Chairlift Pups. On top of the success of releasing this adorable series, the Good Morning America team interviewed me about the series which was a dream come true (watch here).View the entire Dogs of Aspen series here.
## 9. Opening my first art installation, Snow Beach, and attending with the team
I was so inspired by the darling vintage beach clubs in Miami Florida, and always have loved the apres ski environment, so I wanted to bring the two together in an immersive experience that skiers could enjoy at the top of Aspen mountain. It was so fun seeing this dream come to life, and I wanted my team to get to experience this beach club for themselves as well. We made such incredible memories dancing and drinking champagne as a team that I will always cherish. Be sure to check out the Aspenx Beach Club with Gray Malin early next year for its return!
## 8. Releasing Dogs at the Parker
As many of you know, my Parker series are so special to me, and have absolutely played a part in getting me to where I am today. After the success of my past Dog series, I was so excited to bring a world of pups to one of my favorite hotels in Palm Springs. From the vibrant orange door, to the yellow lemonade stand, seeing these furry friends escape at The Parker made for such a fun series. Explore the full series here.
## 7. Moving into our new home
A huge part of our year was centered around moving to our dream home in Los Angeles. It has been so rewarding to see the kids playing and loving this new space that they will grow up in. We love our new neighborhood, and have already made so many memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. I have been so proud of the transformation the interior details have gone through – I cannot wait to share all the details with you early in the new year!
## 6. Successful product activations: Illesteva, Corkcicle, Supergoop, Nest
Seeing dream product activations come to life featuring my artwork is always such a dream come true. This year I was so excited to bring back a new Supergoop kit, as well as new additions to our NEST candles after the success of the previous years. I was also so happy to see one of my long time dreams come true of having my art on sunglasses with Illisteva as well as on gorgeous Corkcicle bottles, and even a champagne bucket. I always look forward to seeing new product ideas come to life – I cannot wait to see what next year will bring!
## 5. Shooting the Hotel Del Coronado
I have always admired the timeless glamor the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego evokes and bringing in some vintage flare was a no brainer at this iconic location. I am so excited for you to see the full series when it comes out next year! In the meantime enjoy this adorable sneak peek!
## 4. Shooting Dogs of Palm Beach
After the success of my original Palm Beach series, I wanted to return with a new addition of furry friends. I have been obsessed with the colors and adorable aesthetic The Colony hotel offers, and seeing some chic pups styled around the hotel and Palm Beach is truly a treat! I cannot wait for you to see this series when it comes out next year!
## 3. Spending the summer on Lake Michigan with my family and getting to travel more this year
Growing up, I spent every summer with my family on Lake Michigan and it has been so magical getting to do the same with our kids in our home. I learned so much during this time and can’t wait for all the amazing memories we will make as a family in the years to come. It was also such a treat to be able to travel more now that the covid restrictions have been dropped. We were extra appreciative this year for an amazing summer full of incredible travels.
## 2. Releasing and shooting a dream series, The Dogs of Paris
After the success of my other dog series, I was ready to create a new fantasy world filled with pampered pooches paying homage to the joys of escapism through Parisian fashion, food and culture in iconic locations around the city. I have dreamt of doing a Paris series like this for many years – and it was such a dream watching it all come to life! Explore the full series here.
