Hi Everyone!
Some hotel pools feel more like destinations than amenities. These stunning spots — perched on cliffs, set against city skylines, or blending into the sea — are among my all time favorites.
Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, Cap d’Antibes, France
Built right into the rocky coastline of Cap d’Antibes, this seawater pool has become an icon of the French Riviera. It’s the perfect spot to take in the endless blue of the Mediterranean.
Waldorf Astoria, Los Cabos, Mexico
In Cabo, the Waldorf Astoria’s pool looks straight out to sea with views of the famous rock formations at Land’s End. Sun, sand, and ocean all in one frame — it’s as relaxing as it gets.
Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Lake Como, Italy
Floating on Lake Como, this pool gives you front-row views of the water and the mountains that surround it. Between the classic villas and the Alps in the distance, it’s hard to imagine a more scenic swim.
Grace Hotel, Santorini, Greece
The infinity pool at the Grace Hotel feels like it blends right into the Aegean Sea. Whitewashed cliffs, blue water, and those famous island sunsets make it a place you never want to leave.
Il San Pietro Hotel, Positano, Italy
Set into the cliffs of Positano, Il San Pietro’s pool combines views of the coast with the charm of gardens full of bougainvillea and lemon trees. It’s a spot that captures everything people love about the Amalfi Coast.
Montage Laguna Beach, California
With palm trees swaying and rows of striped umbrellas, the Montage pool is Southern California chic at its finest. It’s a view that makes even locals feel like they’re on vacation.
Rosewood Le Guanahani, St. Barths
This sleek pool sits right on the sand, framed by thatched cabanas and turquoise waters. It’s the perfect spot to experience St. Barths’ effortless mix of glamour and relaxation.
Four Seasons Hualalai, Hawai’i
Perched at the edge of black lava rock and golden sand, this pool captures the rugged beauty of Hawai’i. With the ocean crashing just beyond, it’s an unforgettable place to take a dip.
Bring the Escape Home
Photographing these pools reminded me that travel is as much about slowing down as it is about exploring. Each of these destinations offers a chance to pause and enjoy the view — something I always try to capture in my work.
For a limited time, you can bring one of these scenes into your own space with free framing on all photography, this week only.
Cheers!
Gray
