Hi Everyone!
I have been dreaming of creating a Martha's Vineyard series for years, and I’m thrilled to finally share it with you. This collection is especially close to my heart. My grandparents had a home in Edgartown, and I've been lucky to come back to the island over the years to soak up the island’s charm. My uncle, an artist himself, has lived on the Vineyard since the 1970s, so the island has always felt like part of the family. To return here with a camera in hand and bring this series to life has been one of the most joyous moments of my career!
As anyone who’s visited the Vineyard knows, the weather can be unpredictable. Like any outdoor shoot, we came prepared for everything—but Mother Nature was surprisingly kind, blessing us with mostly sunshine and just a touch of rain!

We stayed at the iconic Harbor View Hotel, which offered the perfect home base with close proximity to some of my favorite spots. One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was the opportunity to collaborate with local artisans and businesses who give the island its heart. From the beautiful blooms provided by Fire Cat Farms to the help of longtime friends and new faces alike, we were able to tap into the authenticity and warmth that defines Martha’s Vineyard.

We explored the island from coast to coast, and still felt like we didn't get to see it all. There is so much history to unpack here, including getting to visit the iconic spots whereJaws was filmed. I tried to capture all of the important landmarks that the locals cherish!

Whether you’ve been visiting for years or you’re discovering its magic for the first time, I hope this series transports you to the storybook streets of Martha’s Vineyard. It’s a place that continues to inspire me, and now a chapter I’m so proud to add to the Gray Malin collection.

With love from the Vineyard,
Gray
