With every new release, so much time goes into creating the work, but we don’t always get the chance to stop and celebrate it once it’s out in the world. This time, we did.
Getting to launch my latest collection in Dallas, the city where I grew up, made the occasion feel even more personal. Surrounded by family, longtime friends, and so many people who have supported me along the way, it was the perfect way to mark the moment.

A Full-Circle Night at The Mansion
We kicked things off at The Mansion Bar at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, where my photographs are now framed and displayed throughout the space.
This project has actually been nearly two years in the making. The Mansion first reached out about creating something together. We photographed the collection this past March, and by September, we were finally back in Dallas to celebrate it coming to life.
Several of the photographs were captured at The Mansion itself, so seeing the finished pieces hanging in the same place where they were created made the night feel even more fitting. The artwork will remain on display throughout The Mansion Bar through Thanksgiving.
The evening was intimate, with my mom and dad, childhood friends, people I grew up with, and even my high school photography teacher all there to celebrate. Looking around the room and seeing so many different chapters of my life come together made the night one I won’t forget.
After a few speeches, we spent the rest of the evening catching up over champagne, wine, and cocktails and taking in the installation. It was one of those nights where I really tried to stop for a second and appreciate how far this journey has come.
Meeting You at Highland Park Village
The celebration continued the next day with a meet-and-greet and signing for my new book, SNOW, at St. Michael’s Women’s Exchange in Highland Park Village. My mom volunteers at the store, which made getting to celebrate the book there feel that much more personal.
We even had mini Mambo Taxis outside, one of my longtime Dallas favorites, because no trip home would be complete without one.
I truly had no idea what to expect when we arrived, and the turnout completely overwhelmed me in the best way. The store was packed, the line wrapped around, and there were customers who have attended all of my book signings to date! I feel blessed to have such wonderful fans and collectors of my work.
Getting to sit down, hear your stories, take photos, and meet so many of you face-to-face was a reminder of why I love what I do.
There is something particularly surreal about meeting people who have followed my work for years while standing just a few blocks from places that shaped so many of my earliest memories.
Meeting so many of you in Dallas also made me even more excited to continue the SNOW Book Tour and bring the book to more cities. I can’t wait to meet more of you along the way, sign your copies, and celebrate SNOW together.
