An Afternoon with Juliska

Hi Everyone, If you're a regular reader of the blog, you already know that I'm an avid fan of the table and glassware brand Juliska, so this post should come as no surprise. If you're a new reader, don't despair, I'll be reminiscing on some of our greatest hits together, and then I'll also be sharing about my recent lunch with Juliska's husband and wife team, David and Capucine, at their flagship store in Stamford, CT.



But first, lets take a quick trip back memory lane to give some perspective to the level of my appreciation for Juliska. I love to entertain and using pieces from my ever growing collection of pieces truly elevates any event, whether it be big or small.

My 2015 "Juliska Joy" table with my Classic Bamboo plate collection with the green tea straw placemats, silverware and Amalia Flutes for the inevitable and ever flowing Veuve Clicquot. And, then topped it all off with these adorable berry polka dot napkins and Juliska's Bead Napkin Rings in Pistachio...accented perfectly with the Bohemian Glass Tree collection. Want more? ## MY VISIT WITH JULISKA

Last Friday, I was in CT for a book signing in the beautiful OOMPH showroom in Greenwich (more on that later). As luck would have it, Juliska just so happened to be having their popular tent sale! Obviously, if you're in the area and they have a tent sale, I encourage you to go.

David and Capucine kindly invited me to join them for lunch and a bit (read A LOT) of shopping that afternoon. As excited as I was, I never could've imagined the lengths they would go to make me feel welcome!



MYLAR BALLOONS & SPRINKLES! Awwwww...they shouldn't have! The lunch and company were absolutely divine and then came the best part! Shopping!

Maybe, I over did it? No...I don't think so, either. Needless to say, I went to town!! I cannot encourage those able to make the trip enough. If you are a fellow lover of Juliska or simply appreciate beautifully crafted table and glassware (who doesn’t?!), you will not be sorry.
