Aerials of San Diego Beaches

Aerials of San Diego Beaches

Hi Everyone,

Did you know that the coastline of San Diego, California is 70 miles? It's true and the beaches of San Diego are as plentiful as they are beautiful. Living in Los Angeles, San Diego is an easy two hour drive, but I'll admit - I don't get down south nearly as often as I would like. After having the chance to soar above San Diego's coastline earlier this summer, though I am motivated to get to San Diego much much...more! I'll be sharing ALL of my tips later this week with my San Diego travel guide, but in the meantime, let's check out some of my favorites from the brand new beach aerials of San Diego.

## MOONLIGHT BEACH

Starting up in North County, Moonlight Beach in Encinitas has all of the offerings of a great day at the beach. With tennis and volleyball courts available for the athletically inclined, this beach also has ample stretches of sand and designated spots for surfing and swimming, too. Want another great NorCo option? Solana Beach. You'll love it.

## DEL MAR

Spanish for "by the sea," Del Mar is a fun beach city to check out while in San Diego. Home to the Del Mar Races and San Diego County Fair, Del Mar's two mile stretch of beach is perfect for all things beach related...picnics, swimming, surfing and simply enjoying the day, Del Mar won't disappoint.

## TORREY PINES

Head south from Del Mar, and you'll find thelovely La Jolla beach community, Torrey Pines. For a day at the beach, one will find a few options of beach access for the day. Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve is also an excellent way to spend some time, as there are 8 miles worth of trails to choose from and take in this view from the bluffs above.

## BLACK'S BEACH

Want a little more privacy and perhaps have the option of going sans bathing suit? Black's Beach is a secluded little beach in La Jolla, just below the bluffs of Torrey PInes.

## LA JOLLA

With a nickname like "the jewel" of San Diego, it's no surprise that La Jolla is chalk full of natural beauty. Beginning with the image of Children's Pool Beach, which I used above as the header to this post, to Torrey Pines, on down to Windansea and all of the sandy bliss in between - La Jolla offers a lot to love and explore.

## MISSION BEACH

With a wide mile-long stretch of sand, Mission Beach is bit further of a drive south, but theswimming and surfing are sure to not disappoint. Also, when your time on the sand is over, there is an amazingold-fashioned beachfront amusement park near by that will make you feel like a kid, again!

What do you think? I've only shared a fraction of the 39 new aerials of San Diego beaches, so be sure to check them ALL out! Also, stay tuned, later this week I'll be sharing my San Diego Travel Guide for your reading pleasure.

Cheers,

xx
