In Gray’s case, he chose a bright velvet sofa as the focal piece, and drew inspiration from its hue when designing the rest of the space. In keeping with the blue theme, Gray made this lacquered cabinet a de facto bar, choosing to keep the other storage more muted to provide balance. We love choosing a show-stopping piece like this palm printed credenza and pairing with a simple console or a coffee table with a touch of shine. Or, keep things lighthearted and add in a game table. Despite the bold palm pattern of the wallpaper, the bright beach aerials pop and give a nod to the aquatic nature of the room.
