I am so excited to launch a summer collaboration withLadurée.What's more sweet than macarons and artwork coming together?

To give you a little backstory to thisvery near and dear collaboration, one of my very first series documented a woman wearing a vintage Oscar de la Renta polka for dress in iconic locations in LA, NYC and Paris. I called the series A Timeless Pursuit.In 2009, when I began selling my work at a small flea market in LA, this was a one of the series I sold initially and onephotograph in particular was of her at Ladurée on Champs-Élysées avenue in Paris.

Cut to 7 years later, I was introduced to Elisabeth Holder ofLadurée last fall and after explaining my lovinghistory with her family's iconic bakery,we decided to do something special together. Fast forward to today, I am THRILLED to release a limited edition photograph inspired by the original image from 2009. My friend, and model, reprised her role for the image which is titled 'Madamoiselle Ladurée' and was shot this pastApril in front of Ladurée'sLos Angeles location. In comparison to it's inspiration image, I decided to bring this one to life in vibrant color!

I am a long time admirer of the Ladurée brand, soit was a true pleasure to mix my timeless artwork with their iconic masterpiece: the macaroon. This collaboration celebrates the essence of summer, while bringing my art to life in a new and unexpected way. Along with the image, we also collaborated to design a special summer macaron box set featuring my 'Poolside Mediterranean'images which will be available at US Ladurée stores on July 1st!
